Tom GuaySeptember 22, 2024A stunning album by a brilliant band! We opted for the vinyl and it was such a treat to realize it was a double album. We only knew of the hit, “Oh No!,” from radio play, which prompted us to buy the record. Then the other gems spin out, especially “Long White Veil.” And finally, what a joy it was to discover Joan In The Garden on side 4, and the St Joan card hidden inside. Vinyl is the best.

Andy KoopmansAugust 22, 2024I don't own a turntable, but I couldn't resist owning this spectacular album to frame for my wall. In the post-apocalyptic future, I'll dig through the detritus and assemble a turntable, take this out of its frame, and bring the Decemberists back to my zombie ears.

TikiGJuly 4, 2024Really a great album. For me there is a big question mark over it all; basically relating the album being so eclectic in music style. Seems like it is a “Best Of” album, but with all new music. I really like most every song here, and find they just hang in my head. Great work on this. Thank you.

BethanyJuly 3, 2024Listening digitally is good, but the layout of this album was clearly made for vinyl, and the music shines so much brighter for it. The classic country twang and folk rock of the songs fit with the record player like peanut butter fits jelly. Not to sound pretentious, but As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again is enjoyed no better than pressed on vinyl.
